TESTIMONIALS

My time interning with the Centre for Environmental Law Education, Research & Advocacy (CEERA) , National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru from November 30th, 2020 - December 25th, 2020 was an interesting and fruitful learning experience. I was quickly inducted into the programme without a delay, and placed under the able guidance of my mentor, Ms. Madhubanti Sadhya .Even though the internship was carried out remotely, it was a busy one. Through constant interaction with my supportive mentor, who was always readily available, I gained a "real world" insight into the environmental implications of law and regulation. During the internship, I developed my research and writing skills, expanded my knowledge of environmental law, and had the opportunity to learn first-hand from some of India's most renowned speakers in the environmental law community.

Interning at CEERA was honestly one of the most enriching experiences I've had so far in my law school life. Considering that it was my first internship, the level of exposure and experience that I gained in a month was remarkable. The work allotted allowed me to explore an area of law that is seldom gone into much practical depth in the course of our studies,

I was privileged to give a short presentation at the NLSIU- CEERA seminar on strengthening legal provisions for the enforcement of contracts (held from Aug 21-22, 2019). NLSIU is synonymous with exceptional legal pedagogy and research and the seminar reflected the high standards that NLSIU has set for students and professionals alike.
