CEERA, NLSIU has now for a decade been the preferred choice for organizing capacity building and training programmes for Forest Officers, Revenue Officers, Officers of the Central Pollution Control Board and also of the Government of Karnataka, Officers of various Companies and Public Sector Undertakings such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited; Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Mitsubhishi Hitachi Power Systems Private Limited, Gujrat Energy Training and Research Institute, among others.

CEERA has been approached steadily for carrying out effective training programmes in the most effective and constructive manner, adopting training approaches and methods that best suit the requirements of the target audiences

CEERA, NLSIUtakes pride in organizing an annual UGC recognized, One-Week Law Teacher’s Refresher Course which it has been organizing for the past few years. The Centre has also organized Training Programmes for IAS, IES Officers, Officers of the Pollution Control Board and other Government Agencies.

The duration of the Training Programmes range between two to seven days , wherein back-to-back sessions, including Panel-Discussions are conducted with participation from members of the Academia, Bar and the Bench, Industry Experts and Leading Professionals. In addition to discourses on law and legal methods, an inter-disciplinary approach is adopted to ensure that the participants are made cognizant of the convergences between law and other fields of study and practice. Case study method is often used to impart hands-on training. Interactive methods of teaching are employed to afford opportunities to theparticipants to discuss their queries with the Resource Persons and bring to the table their valuable insights and feedback.

The National Law School of India University has an impeccable infrastructure to organize and house training programmes, workshops and seminars with in-house lodging facilities for around 100 participants.
